Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 29, 2026

TwoStraps™ is designed around continuity. To help a Builder over time, we may need to remember what they have told us, understand how their business is changing, and maintain structured business and economic information.

This Privacy Policy explains what information TwoStraps may collect, how we use it, when we may share it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use TwoStraps, we may collect:

Builder information — Information you provide about yourself, your background, goals, experience, preferences, constraints, and business activities.

Business information — Business names, descriptions, products, services, customers, pricing, suppliers, partners, assets, operations, employees, contractors, plans, strategies, and other business information.

Financial information — Revenue, expenses, prices, costs, margins, cash information, budgets, forecasts, financial statements, financial assumptions, tax-related information, and other financial information you choose to provide.

Payment information — Payment and billing information may be processed by third-party payment providers. TwoStraps may receive limited information necessary to manage subscriptions and billing.

2. Builder Memory and Business Information

TwoStraps may create and maintain structured information from your interactions. This may include Builder Memory™, Business Map™, business model information, economic-model inputs and calculations, goals, decisions, assumptions, evidence, plans, historical changes, actual results, and preferences regarding how you use TwoStraps.

This information allows TwoStraps to provide continuity rather than treating every conversation as a new interaction. We may update these records when you provide new information or correct prior information.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to provide and personalize the Service; maintain Builder Memory and Business Maps; build and update business and financial models; provide recommendations and decision support; conduct calculations and forecasts; analyze documents; perform research; provide customer support; facilitate human escalation; provide professional referrals when authorized; process payments; secure the Service; prevent abuse and fraud; troubleshoot technical issues; understand usage; improve the Service; develop new features; conduct analytics; comply with legal obligations; and enforce our Terms.

4. AI and Model Providers

TwoStraps may send information to third-party AI or machine-learning providers when necessary to provide functionality. We may use different AI providers over time. We will seek to configure commercial/API services in a manner appropriate to the Service and the commitments we make to Builders.

Depending on provider and configuration, data may be processed, stored, or retained by the provider subject to the applicable provider terms and data-processing practices.

The Service may use information returned by AI systems to update structured TwoStraps records when appropriate.

5. Product Improvement and Training

TwoStraps may use aggregated, de-identified, or otherwise appropriately protected information to analyze usage, improve workflows, test functionality, and improve the Service.

Any use of Builder information for model training or similar purposes should be governed by the settings, notices, contracts, and provider configurations applicable to the Service.

6. Human Support

If you request human assistance, or if a matter is escalated for review, relevant information may be made available to the person handling the request. TwoStraps will seek to limit shared information to what is reasonably necessary for the purpose.

7. Professional Referrals

When you request a referral or introduction, TwoStraps may prepare a concise brief using information already available about your business and situation. Where appropriate, you may review or authorize the information before it is shared. TwoStraps may receive compensation from some referral partners, and material arrangements will be disclosed as required.

8. Information We Do Not Intend to Sell

TwoStraps does not intend to sell Builder personal information. We may share information with service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, AI/model processing, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, customer support, security, document processing, research, infrastructure, and professional referral administration. Service providers receive information as reasonably necessary to perform their functions.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

TwoStraps may use cookies, local storage, pixels, analytics tools, or similar technologies to maintain functionality, remember settings, understand usage, improve the Service, and maintain security. The specific technologies used will be described in the final published policy once the production stack is established.

11. Data Retention

TwoStraps may retain Builder information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain continuity, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and perform legitimate business functions. Certain information may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion. Retention periods may differ depending on the type and sensitivity of information.

12. Security

We use reasonable security measures designed to protect information. However, no system can guarantee complete security. Builders should exercise reasonable care before uploading highly sensitive information.

13. Your Choices and Controls

Depending on the Service and applicable law, you may be able to access information associated with your account; correct inaccurate information; update Builder or business information; request deletion; request export or portability; manage certain communications; manage certain AI/data-use preferences; and request clarification about information maintained by TwoStraps. We may retain information when legally required or reasonably necessary for legitimate business, security, fraud-prevention, or contractual purposes.

14. State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights under applicable state law, including rights relating to access, correction, deletion, portability, or limits on certain uses or disclosures. The specific rights and processes applicable to you will depend on your state of residence and the nature of the information involved.

15. Children's Privacy

TwoStraps is intended for adults and business Builders. The Service is not designed for children who are below the minimum age required by applicable law to use the Service independently. If we learn that we have collected information from a child in circumstances where collection was not permitted, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

16. International Users

TwoStraps may initially focus on users in the United States. If the Service is offered more broadly, including to users in jurisdictions with additional privacy requirements, we will update this Policy and our technical and contractual processes as appropriate.

18. Privacy Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by applicable law. The "Last Updated" date will reflect the most recent revision.
